Coptic architectural elements are often decorated with friezes with vegetation decoration (vines, acanthus, or palms). This fragment of a frieze is decorated with circular vines in the midst of which are bunches of grapes; in the centre of the spirals one bunch of 5 grapes and one of 3 grapes can be seen.
