Description
An appliqué depicting the Ba-bird shown full-face, with outstretched wings and spread legs each holding an ankh-sign of which only the loop remains (or was executed). It was probably used as an amulet to be inserted between the bandages of a mummy to protect the Ba of the deceased.

Applicatie, die de Ba-vogel in vooraanzicht met uitgespreide vleugels en gespreide poten toont, met in iedere poot een anch-teken, waarvan slechts de lus bewaard is, of alleen de lus is uitgevoerd. De applicatie is waarschijnlijk als amulet gebruikt, die, ingevoegd tussen de mummiewindsels, ertoe diende de Ba van de overledene te beschermen.
Applique représentant l'oiseau-Ba, vu de face, aux ailes déployées, aux pattes écartées tenant chacune un signe-ânkh dont seule la boucle subsiste (ou est présente). Cet objet était probablement une amulette destinée à être insérée entre les bandelettes de la momie pour protéger le Ba du défunt.
Applikation, die den Ba-Vogel in Frontalansicht mit ausgebreiteten Flügeln und gespreizten Beinen zeigt, die je ein Anch-Zeichen umgreifen, wovon entweder nur der Henkel erhalten, oder nur er allein zur Ausführung gekommen war. Die Applikation wurde wahrscheinlich als Amulett verwendet, das zwischen die Mumienbinden eingefügt dazu diente, den Ba des Verstorbenen zu schützen.
Applicazione raffigurante l'uccello Ba in visione frontale, con ali spiegate, zampe divaricate sorreggenti ciascuna un segno ankh di cui non resta o non venne eseguito che l'occhiello. L'applicazione fu probabilmente usata come amuleto, destinato ad essere inserito fra le bende di una mummia, per proteggere il Ba del defunto.
Uma aplicaçao com o pássaro ba, de frente, com asas abertas e patas estendidas, cada uma a segurar o símbolo "ankh" e do qual resta apenas (ou só é mostrado) o laço. Foi provavelmente usado como amuleto, inserido entre as faixas da múmia para proteger o Ba do defunto.
Adorno que representa a un pájaro Ba, con las alas desplegadas y las patas extendidas, cada una sujetando un signo-anj de los que sólo queda (o sólo se realizó) el anillo. Probablemente fuera utilizado como amuleto para ser introducido entre las vendas de una momia para protejer al Ba del difunto.
