Description
Mirror with a round body and a short tenon, square in cross-section, for the insertion of the handle. Bronze mirrors were highly treasured because the surface, once thoroughly polished, reflects as well as glass does. The handle may have been decorated with lotus flowers and heads of divinities, and would have been made from wood, ivory or enamel.
