Description
The Museum of Brussels preserves sixteen fragments of a large relief in limestone coming from the funerary temple of Mentuhotep II at Deir el-Bahari. Sculptured in bas-relief, the scene represents an antelope hunt. Several fragments still bear some traces of colours: red ochre decorates the body of the animals and the green the vegetation.

De Brusselse musea bezitten zestien fragmenten van een groot kalkstenen reliëf afkomstig uit de dodentempel va Montoehotep II te Deir el-Bahari. Het is in laagreliëf uitgevoerd en stelt een antilopenjacht voor. Diverse stukken tonen nog kleursporen: rode oker op de lichamen van de dieren en groen op de planten.
Les Musées de Bruxelles conservent seize fragments d'un grand relief en calcaire provenant du temple funéraire de Mentouhotep II à Deir el-Bahari. Sculptée en bas-relief, la scène représente une chasse à l'antilope. Plusieurs fragments portent encore des traces de couleurs: l'ocre rouge décore les corps des animaux et le vert les végétaux.
Die Musées de Bruxelles besitzen sechzehn Fragmente eines großen Kalksteinreliefs aus dem Totentempel Mentuhoteps II. in Deir el-Bahari. Die in erhabenem Relief gearbeitete Szene zeigt eine Antilopenjagd. Mehrere Fragmente weisen noch Farbspuren auf: roten Ocker für die Tierkörper und grün für die Pflanzen.
I Musei di Bruxelles conservano sedici frammenti di un grande rilievo in calcare proveniente dal tempio funerario di Mentuhotep II a Dier el-Bahari. Scolpito in bassorilievo, la scena rappresenta una caccia all'antilope. Numerosi frammenti recano ancora delle tracce di colore: l'ocra rossa decora i corpi degli animali e il verde i vegetali.
O Museu de Bruxelas possui dezasseis fragmentos de um grande relevo de calcário proveniente do templo funerário de Mentuhotep II em Deir el-Bahari. A cena, esculpida em baixo-relevo, representa uma caçada ao antílope. Muitos fragmentos apresentam ainda vestígios de cores: o ocre vermelho para os corpos dos animais e o verde para a vegetaçäo.
