Petit bracelet circulaire en forme de jonc, parfaitement poli. Les bracelets de ce type, plus ou moins grands, ont été trouvés en grand nombre dans la nécropole du Groupe C d'Aksha. L'ivoire, travaillé par les populations nubiennes anciennes, servait tant à la confection d'ornements corporels que pour des incrustations sur le mobilier ou des outils. Au début du 2e millénaire avant J.C., l'éléphant fréquentait encore les confins du Nil.

Small circular bracelet in the shape of ring, perfectly polished. The bracelets of this type, more or less large, were found in great numbers in the C-Group necropolis of of Aksha. The ivory, as worked by the ancient Nubian population, was used both for the manufacture of corporal ornaments as for inlays on furniture or on tools. At the beginning of the 2nd millenium B.C., elephants still frequented the borders of the Nile.
