Description

Coarsely manufactured goblet that is large and deep, with a flat conical base, restricted mouth and simple lip. It is brown-pink in colour and bears black patches on the exterior surface, which are the result of fire clouding. The horizontal polish was more carefully applied on the inside than on the outside.

Gobelet grand et profond de facture assez grossière à base conique plate, ouverture rétrécie et lèvre simple. De couleur rose-brun pâle, il porte sur la face externe des plages noires dues à des coups de feu. Il a fait l'objet d'un lissage horizontal plus soigné à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur.
