Vase de profil biconique à ouverture étroite. Il appartient au type rouge à bord noir, ce qui signifie que la face interne et de haut de la face externe sont noirs alors que le reste est rouge. L'extérieur a fait l'objet d'un traitement ayant donné à la surface un aspect ridé ("rippled ware").

Vase with a biconical profile and narrow orifice, belonging to the category of so-called black and red wares, which means that its interior surface and outer rim are black, whereas the rest of the exterior surface is red.  The surface treatment on the exterior created a rippled effect (hence "rippled ware").
