Description
Ovoid-shaped jar with a medium-sized cylindrical neck which terminates in a thick lip. The vessel was made from an orange-coloured clay. The exterior surface, where a few traces of the original burnish remain, bears a brick-red slip upon which a pattern of dark brown lines was painted: a simple stripe that occasionally splits near the neck, two parallel stripes at the junction of the neck and the body, two parallel stripes on the body itself. The interior surface bears visible throwing marks.
