Description

Small biconical vase with a flat base, narrowed neck and simple flared lip. The clay is fine, common, buff-coloured and has been polished and covered with a dark red slip that has almost entirely disappeared. A mark that resembles an offering table was carved on the shoulder of the vessel before it was fired.

Ce petit vase biconique présente un fond plat, un col étroit, une lèvre évasée, simple. La pâte, fine, commune, chamois, lissée, a été recouverte d'un engobe rouge foncé, presqu'entièrement disparu. Une marque rappelle qu'une table d'offrande a été gravée avant cuisson sur l'épaule.
