Description
Within the burial pit, at the head of the coffin which contained one of the most beautiful funerary masks of Mirgissa/Iken, were found three small similar dishes; the only offerings of this burial. They all have a flat base, an extremely flared body and a thinned lip. The clay is buff-coloured, fine, compact and has been polished (without erasing the wheel marks). The inside is covered with a yellow-beige slip.
