Description
Object composed of three models of stakes, joined side by side. First, they were fashioned separately, then the three objects were joined together, which resulted in the crushing of the top extremities which are too wide to all be joined together. This group of stakes together with a fourth one found separately (L 1524) symbolised the four stakes driven in the four corners of the temple by the king and the goddess Seshat during the foundation ritual.
