Description
This "tulip" vase has a flattened base and a wide, flaring S-shaped body. The white band between the wide black rim and the red body is very well shaped. This vessel is a beautiful example of the Kerma production. Its provenance is the Kerma pastoralists' occupation level of the fortress.

Ce vase "tulipe" possède un fond aplati et une panse large et évasée en S. La bande blanche intermédiaire entre le large bord noir et la panse rouge brique est très bien formée. Ce vase est un très bel exemplaire de la production Kerma. Ce vase provient du niveau d'occupation de la forteresse par les éleveurs Kerma.
