The most used category of motifs, that of the spirals, is often called Hyksos for its common use in the Second Intermediate Period, but is found from the end of the 12th Dynasty onwards. The motifs can attain a remarkable complexity, as in this case, which is applied on papyrus.

Les motifs peuvent atteindre une complexité remarquable comme sur cette exemple, appliqué sur papyrus.
