Description
This beaker of clay, which is in an exceptional state of preservation, comes from the excavations of J. Garstang at Meroe in 1909-1910. The ochre bottom shows a decoration of red-brown flowers (?) in three registers recalling the form of the Isis knot.

Deze beker in klei, waarvan de bewaringstoestand uitzonderlijk is, is afkomstig uit de opgravingen van J. Garstang te Meroë in 1909-1910. De okergele ondergrond vertoont een versiering van bruinrode bloemen (?) in drie registers die doen denken aan de vorm van de Isisknoop.
Ce gobelet en argile, dont l'état de conservation est exceptionnel, provient des fouilles de J. Garstang à Méroé en 1909-1910. Le fond ocre montre un décor de fleurs (?) brun-rouge en trois registres rappelant la forme du noeud isiaque.
Dieser Tonbecher, dessen Erhaltungszustand außerordentlich ist, stammt aus den Grabungen, die J. Garstang 1909-1910 in Meroe durchführte. Der ockerfarbene Hintergrund zeigt ein braunrotes Blumendekor (?) in drei Registern, dessen Form an den Isisknoten erinnert.
Questo gobelet di argilla, il cui stato di conservazione é eccezionale, proviene dagli scavi di J. Garstang a Meroe nel 1903-1910. Il fondo ocra mostra una decorazione di fiori (?) bruno-rossi in tre registri che richiaman la forma del nodo isiaco.
Esta taça de argila, cujo estado de conservaçäo é muito bom, provém das escavaçöes de J. Garstang em Meroé, em 1909-1910. A superfície ocre mostra uma decoraçäo de flores (?) castanho avermalhadas em três registos que lembram a forma do nó de Isis.
Este cubilete de arcilla, cuyo estado de corservacion es excepcional, proviene de las excavaciones de J. Garstang en Meroe en 1909-1910. El fondo ocre presenta una decoración de flores (?) marrón-rojizo distribuida en tres filas que recuerda la forma del nudo de Isis.
