Description
This vase in clay is characterised by a typical decoration. The straight and short neck bears diamonds stretched between two framings. The belly is divided in two registers: the upper band shows three human heads separated by the trunks of trees, the lower band is packed with half circles which fit into each other. The vase comes from the excavations of F. Griffith at Faras in 1910.

Deze vaas in klei wordt gekenmerkt door een typische versiering. De smalle en korte flessenhals bevat langwerpige ruiten tussen een dubbele omlijning. De buik is verdeeld in twee registers: de bovenste band toont drie menselijke hoofden gescheiden door boomstammen, de onderste band is opgevuld met halve cirkels die in elkaar passen. De vaas is afkomstig uit de opgravingen van F. Griffith te Faras in 1910.
Ce vase en argile se caractérise par une décoration typique. Le goulot étroit et court porte des losanges allongées entre deux encadrements. La panse est divisée en deux registres: la bande supérieure montre trois têtes humaines séparées par des troncs d'arbres, la bande inférieure est comblé de demi cercles qui s'emboîtent les uns dans les autres. Le vase provient des fouilles de F. Griffith à Faras en 1910.
Dieses Tongefäß ist durch seine typische Dekoration gekennzeichnet. Der enge und kurze Hals trägt längliche Rauten zwischen zwei Begrenzungen. Der Gefäßkörper ist in zwei Register aufgeteilt: das obere Band zeigt drei durch Baumstämme getrennte Menschenköpfe, das untere Band ist mit ineinander gefügten Halbkreisen ausgefüllt. Das Gefäß stammt aus den Grabungen, die F. Griffith 1910 in Faras durchführte.
Questo vaso di argilla si caratterizza per una decorazione tipica. Il collo stretto e corto reca delle losanghe allungate fra due incorniciature. La pancia é divisa in due registri: la fascia superiore mostra tre teste umane separate da tronchi di alberi, la fascia inferiore é colma di semicerchi che si incastrano gli uni negli altri. Il vaso proviene dagli scavi di F. Griffith a Faras nel 1910.
Este vaso de argila caracteriza-se por ter uma decoraçäo típica. O gargalo estreito e curto apresenta losangos alongados e enquadrados entre dois filetes. A pança está dividida em dois registos: a faixa superior mostra três cabeças humanas separadas por troncos de árvores, e a faixa inferior está repleta de semicírculos unidos uns aos outros. O vaso provém das escavaçöes de F. Griffith em Faras em 1910.
