Description
Heart amulets were placed over the real heart. The front of this example bears a cartouche with the prenomen of Ramesses II or that of Shoshenq III of the 22nd Dynasty. It is preceded by "Lord of the Two Lands". Shoshenq had a tomb at Tanis but his funerary equipment was no longer complete when it was found. The blue colour of the amulet was very popular with the kings of Tanis.

Dit amulet werd boven de plek van het echte hart geplaatst. De voorkant draagt een cartouche met de troonnaam van Ramses II of die van Sjesjonq III van de 22e dynastie. De cartouche wordt voorafgegaan door de titel "heer der beide landen". Sjesjonq liet een graf bouwen in Tanis, maar zijn grafinventaris was niet meer compleet toen hij werd gevonden. De blauwe kleur van vele hartamuletten was erg geliefd bij de Tanitische koningen.
Cette amulette était placée à la place du vrai coeur de la momie. Le devant porte un cartouche avec le prénom de Ramsès II ou celui de Chechonq III de la XXIIème Dynastie. Ce nom est précédé de l'expression "maître des deux terres". La tombe de Chechonq a été aménagée à Tanis, mais son équipement funéraire était incomplet quand elle a été découverte. La couleur bleue de l'amulette était très appréciée à l'époque des rois de Tanis.
Das Herz-Amulett lag an der Stelle des Herzens. Auf der Vorderseite ist in einer Kartusche der Thronname Ramses II. oder auch Scheschonks III. in der 22. Dynastie eingeritzt, davor "Herr der beiden Länder". Letzterer hatte sein Grab in Tanis, seine Grabausstattung war zur Zeit der Auffindung nicht mehr komplett. Die blaue Farbe für Herz-Amulette war bei den Königen von Tanis sehr beliebt.
Questo amuleto era collocato in corrispondenza del cuore. La parte anteriore di questo esemplare presenta un cartiglio con il prenome di Ramses II o di Sheshonq III della XXII dinastia. Esso è preceduto dalla definizione di "Signore delle Due Terre". Sheshonq aveva una tomba a Tanis, ma il suo corredo funebre non era più completo quando la tomba fu scoperta. Il colore blu dell'amuleto era molto apprezzato dai re di Tanis.
