Description
This offering tray is composed of an almost square plaque, on which, at the bottom, on the left, food offerings were represented in relief: a head and a thigh of an animal and some bread. The eight holes around the two basins, in the middle of the plaque, served to hold plant stalks. The libation water flowed out by a groove which gave the object the form of the "hetep" hieroglyph, signifying an offering (see also E.7681).
