Description
A blue-glazed faience shabti of Pinedjem I of the 21st Dynasty, wearing a long wig with ureaus. The details are outlined in black and it holds a hoe and pick. A single vertical line of text runs down the front of the figure. Pinedjem I was one of the High Priests of Amun who ruled from Thebes while the pharaoh ruled from Tanis in the Delta.

Een blauw geglazuurde faience oesjabti van Pinodjem I van de 21e dynastie, die een lange pruik met de uraeus draagt. De details zijn in zwart en de figuur houdt een hak en een houweel vast. Eén verticale tekstkolom loopt over de voorkant van de figuur. Pinodjem I was één van de hogepriesters van Amon die regeerden vanuit Thebe terwijl de farao regeerde vanuit Tanis in de Delta.

Pinudjem war einer der ersten Hohepriester des Amun, die in Theben herrschten, während der Pharao von Tanis im Delta aus regierte.
Un usciabti di faience smaltata azzurra di Pinedjem I della XXI dinastia, che porta una lunga parrucca con ureo. I dettagli sono delineati in nero e regge zappa e piccone. Una singola linea verticale di testo scorre verso il basso sulla parte anteriore della figura. Pinedjem I era uno dei Grandi Sacerdoti di Amon che governarono da Tebe mentre il faraone governava da Tanis nel Delta.

Site: Possibly from a cache at Deir el-Bahri. Preservation: The figure is cracked across in three places and repaired. Disposition: A single vertical line on the front of the shabti.
