Description
A ewer- shaped vessel made from glass, coloured black, gold/orange and white. The handle is a yellow/green colour and translucent. The design shows a Greek influence and it may have been imported from Phoenicia, on the Syrian coast. Such vessels were used to hold perfumes and oils.

Een kannetje gemaakt van glas, in de kleuren zwart, oranje-goud en wit. Het handvat is doorzichtig geel-groen. De decoratie vertoont Griekse invloed en is misschien geïmporteerd uit Fenicië, op de Syrische kust. Dergelijke voorwerpen werden gebruikt om parfums en oliën in te bewaren.
Vase en verre noir, or/orange et blanc en forme d'aiguière. L'anse est de couleur jaune/vert et est translucide. Le dessin indique une certaine influence grecque et il est possible que l'objet soit importé de Phénicie. Il servait à contenir des parfums et de l'huile.
Gefäß aus Glas in Form eines Wasserkrugs, schwarz, gold/orange und weiß bemalt. Der Griff weist eine gelb/grüne Farbe auf und ist durchscheinend. In der Gestaltung ist griechischer Einfluß sichtbar. Es könnte aus Phönizien an der syrischen Küste importiert worden sein. Derartige Gefäße wurden zur Aufbewahrung von Parfümen und Ölen verwendet.
Un recipiente a forma di brocca fatto di vetro, e colorato di nero, oro/arancione e bianco. Il manico è di colore giallo/verde e traslucido. Il disegno mostra un'influenza greca e può essere stato importato dalla Fenicia, sulla costa siriana. Tali recipienti erano usati per contenere profumi e oli.
Esta cartonagem de mulher está totalmente preservada. As suas roupas estão decoradas com várias claves. Segura nas mãos uma grinalda funerária como uma coroa de justificação. As suas jóias consistem em anéis, duas pulseiras de serpente, um colar de pedras e um pendente, e ainda uma banda floral na cabeça. A expressão facial é determinada por uns olhos grandes e sobrancelhas curvas, nariz estreito e lábios cheios.
Este cartonaje de una mujer perfectamente conservado, muestra una túnica cubierta con clave. En las manos lleva una guirnalda funeraria y un rollo. Entre las joyas se encuentran anillos, dos brazaletes en forma de serpiente, un collar engastado de piedras preciosas y provisto de un colgante, y una guirnalda en los cabellos. La cara está dominada por los grandes ojos, las cejas arqueadas, una nariz estrecha y una boca carnosa.

General Comment
Material: The multi-coloured pattern was made by trailing soft rods of glass across the body surface, rolling it on a flat stone and then dragging a sharp instrument across the surface while still soft.
