Description
A thin cylindrical vessel made from dark blue glass with a feathered pattern of white glass. The stopper is made from dark blue glass with a pale blue top and rim. Such a vessel may have been a kohl tube.

Dun cilindrisch vat van donkerblauw glas met een verenpatroon van wit glas. De stop is gemaakt van donkerblauw glas met een lichtblauwe bovenkant en rand. Een dergelijk vat kan een tube voor kohl zijn geweest.
Mince récipient cylindrique en verre bleu foncé. Il est décoré d'un motif plumeté en verre blanc. Le bouchon est en verre bleu foncé avec un sommet et un bord bleu pâle. Il s'agit peut-être d'un tube à kohol.
Ein schmales zylindrisches Gefäß aus dunkelblauem Glas mit einem Federmuster aus weißem Glas. Der Stöpsel besteht aus dunkelblauem Glas mit hellblauer Spitze und Rand. Dieses Gefäß diente vielleicht als Kohlbehälter.

General Comment
Material: The feathery design on the vessel was made by trailing soft rods of glass over the body surface, rolling it on a flat stone and then dragging a sharp implement across the surface while it was still soft. Such a thin vessel was probably formed on a rod.
