Description
A small amulet in the form of a headrest. Such amulets would help protect against the deceased's head being cut off in the Afterlife. The amulet was also representative of the headrests used in everday life.

Klein amulet in de vorm van een hoofdsteun. Dergelijke amuletten beschermden het hoofd van de overledene tegen afgesneden worden in het hiernamaals. Het personifieerde tevens de hoofdsteunen die in het dagelijks leven werden gebruikt.
Petite amulette en forme de chevet. Ces amulettes devaient empêcher une éventuelle séparation de la tête et du corps du défunt dans l'au-delà. Cette pièce imite la forme des chevets utilisés dans la vie quotidienne.
