Dit recipiënt in bleekgroene faience behoort tot de categorie van de "nieuwjaarsflessen". Vanaf de Late Periode griften de Egyptenaren hun nieuwjaarswensen op lensvormige vazen versierd met florale motieven en diermotieven. De halzen beeldden een papyrusbloem af waartegen twee kleine zittende bavianen leunen. Ze stellen de god Thoth voor, de berekenaar van de tijd en de jaren. De wensen zijn gegrift op de vlakke zijde van de vaas.

This container in pale green faience belongs to the "New Year Flasks" category. From the Late Period, the Egyptians engraved their New Year vows on the lentiform  vases decorated with floral and animal motifs. The neck shows a papyrus flower on which two small seated baboons are leaning. They represent the god Thoth, calculator of time and the years. The vows are incised on the flat side of the vase.

Ce récipient en faïence vert pâle appartient à la catégorie des "bouteilles de Nouvel An". A partir de la Basse Époque, les Égyptiens gravaient leurs voeux de Nouvel An sur des vases lentiformes décorés de motifs floraux et animaliers. Les cols figuraient une fleur de papyrus sur laquelle s'appuyaient deux petits babouins assis. Ils représentaient le dieu Thoth, calculateur du temps et des années. Les voeux sont gravés sur le côté plat du vase.

Questo recipiente di fayence verde pallido appartiene alla categoria delle "bottiglie del Nuovo Anno". A partire dall'Epoca Tarda, gli egiziani incidevano i loro voti del Nuovo Anno su dei vasi lentiformi decorati con motivi floreali e animali. I colli raffiguravano un fiore di papiro sul quale si accovacciano due piccoli babbuini seduti. Essi rappresentano il dio Thot, calcolatore del tempo e degli anni. I voti sono incisi sulla parte piatta del vaso.

Este recipiente em faiança verde pálido pertence ao tipo de «vasos de Ano Novo». E partir da Época Baixa os Egípcios gravavam os seus votos de Ano Novo sobre a superfície de vasos redondos e achatados, decorados com motivos florais e animalistas. O colo representava uma flor de papiro sobre a qual se sentavam pequenos babuínos, representando o deus Tot, calculador do tempo e dos anos. Os votos inscreviam-se no lado plano dos vasos.

Este recipiente de fayenza verde pálido es una "botella de Año Nuevo". A partir de la Baja Época, los egipcios grababan sus propósitos de Año Nuevo en vasos lentiformes decorados con motivos florales y animalísticos. Los cuellos representaban una flor de papiro sobre la que se apoyaban dos pequeños babuinos sentados. Representaban al dios Thot, que calculaba el tiempo y los años. Los propósitos están grabados en el lado plano de la jarra.
