Description
This bronze mirror, which was purchased in the art trade of Cairo at the beginning of the century, is characterised by a handle in the form of the umbel of a papyrus, surmounted by two falcons placed on the edges. The piece dates from the New Kingdom.

Deze bronzen spiegel is verkregen uit de kunsthandel in Cairo aan het begin van de eeuw. De spiegel wordt gevormd door een papyrusstengel en papyrusscherm, waarop aan weerszijden twee valken staan. Het handvat is versierd met palmmotieven. Het stuk dateert uit het Nieuwe Rijk.
Ce miroir en bronze, qui a été acheté dans le commerce d'art du Caire au début du siècle, se caractérise par un manche en ombelle de papyrus qui est surmonté de deux faucons posés aux extrémités. La poignée est décorée de motifs de palmiers. La pièce date du Nouvel Empire.
Dieser Bronzespiegel, der zu Beginn des Jahrhunderts im Kairener Kunsthandel erworben wurde, besitzt einen Griff in Gestalt einer Papyrusdolde, auf der zwei Falken sitzen. Der Griff ist mit einem Palmmotiv verziert. Das Stück datiert in das Neue Reich.
Questo specchio di bronzo, che é stato acquistato nel commercio d'arte del Cairo all'inizio del secolo, si caratterizza per un manico a ombrella di papiro che é sormontato da due falchi posti alle estremitá. Il manico é decorato con motivi di palme. Il pezzo data al Nuovo Regno.
Este espelho de bronze, que foi comprado no comércio de arte do Cairo no início do século XX, caracteriza-se por ter um cabo em forma de papiro com dois falcöes nas extremidades das umbelas. A ponta está decorada com motivos de palmeiras. A peça data do Império Novo.
Este espejo de bronce, adquirido a un anticuario de El Cairo a comenzos de siglo, se caracteriza por su mango en forma de umbella de papiro coronada por dos halcones posados en los extremos. La empuñadura está decorada con motivos de palmeras. La pieza data del Imperio Nuevo.
