Description
A wooden funerary stele belonging to the priest Nes-shu-tefnut, found in-situ in his tomb at Hissayeh.The stele shows the deceased making an offering to seven deities, he stands before Osiris and behind him are Isis, Nephthys, Re-Harakhty, Hathor, Anubis and Wepwawet. At the bottom is an inscription. At the top of the stele is a winged sun-disk flanked by two recumbant jackals, named as Anubis.

Een houten grafstèle die toebehoorde aan de priester Nessjoetefnoet, in situ gevonden in zijn graf te Hissaya. Op de stèle is de overledene afgebeeld die offert aan zeven godheden; hij staat voor Osiris en achter hem staan Isis, Nephthys, Re-Horachte, Hathor, Anoebis en Wepwawet. Onderaan staat een tekst. Bovenaan de stèle is een gevleugelde zonneschijf afgebeeld, geflankeerd door twee liggende jakhalzen die benoemd zijn als Anoebis.
Stèle funéraire en bois appartenant au prêtre Neshoutefnout, trouvée dans sa tombe à Hissayeh. La stèle montre le défunt apportant une offrande à sept divinités. Il est debout devant Osiris et derrière celui-ci se trouvent Isis, Nephthys, Rê-Horakhty, Hathor, Anubis et Oupouaout. Le bas de la stèle comprend une inscription. Le haut est bordé par un disque ailé flanqué de deux chacals appelés Anubis.

Er steht vor Osiris, hinter dem Isis, Nephthys, Re-Harachte, Hathor, Anubis und Upuaut aufgereiht sind. Am unteren Ende befindet sich eine Inschrift. Im Oberteil der Stele ist eine geflügelte Sonnenscheibe dargestellt, flankiert von zwei liegenden Schakalen, die als Anubis bezeichnet werden.
Una stele funeraria di legno appartenente al sacerdote Nes-shu-tefnut, trovata in situ nella sua tomba a Hissayah. La stele mostra il defunto che fa un'offerta a sette divinità, egli è in piedi dinanzi a Osiride e dietro di lui sono Iside, Nefti, Ra-Harakhty, Hathor, Anubi e Upuaut. Sul fondo c'è un'iscrizione. Sulla sommità della stele si trova un disco solare alato affiancato da due sciacalli sdraiati, denominati Anubis.
Estela funerária em madeira pertencendo ao sacerdote Nesichutefnut, encontrado "in situ" no seu túmulo em Hissaieh. A estela mostra o defunto fazendo uma oferenda a sete divindades. Ele encontra-se em pé perante Osíris, e atrás dele estão Ísis, Néftis, Ré-Horakhti, Hathor, Anúbis e Uepuauet. No fundo há uma inscrição. Em cima da estela está um disco solar com asas, ladeado por dois cães selvagens identificados com Anúbis.

Object''s History
From excavations carried out by Professor John Garstang at Hissayeh in 1905. The stele, coffin and funerary statuette were found in the tomb of Nes-shu-tefnut and brought back and given to the Museum in 1905.
