Description
This object in faience, which comes from the excavations of W. F. Petrie at Serabit el-Khadim, is a fragment of a votive plaquette featuring Hathor. The face of the <A HREF="God">goddess</A>, protectress of the mines and desert regions, is presented as a diamond surmounted by a neck of cylindrical form. Characteristics are also the elongated eyes and the ears of a cow. The fragment was part of a large group of votive plaquettes dating from the New Kingdom.

Dit voorwerp uit blauwgroene faience, afkomstig uit de opgravingen van W.F. Petrie in Serabit el-Chadim, is een stuk van een votiefplaquette waarop Hathor is afgebeeld. Het gezicht van de <A HREF="God">godin</A>, die de beschermvrouwe van de mijnen en de woestijn was, is voorgesteld als een ruit boven een cilindrische hals. Karakteristiek zijn de ogen die uitlopen naar de koeienoren. Het stuk is onderdeel van een grote groep votiefplaquettes uit het Nieuwe Rijk.
Cet objet en faïence verte, qui provient des fouilles de W. F. Petrie à Sérabit el-Khadim, est un fragment de plaquette votive figurant Hathor. Le visage de la <A HREF="God">déesse</A>, protectrice des mines et des régions désertiques, se présente comme un losange surmontant un cou de forme cylindrique. Caractéristiques sont également les yeux s'étirant en oreilles de vache. Le fragment fait partie d'un grand ensemble de plaquettes votives datant du Nouvel Empire.
Dieses Objekt aus grüner Fayence, das aus den Grabungen von W.F. Petrie in Serabit el-Chadim stammt, ist ein Fragment einer Votivkachel, auf der Hathor dargestellt ist. Das Gesicht der <A HREF="God">Göttin</A>, der Beschützerin der Minen und Wüstenregionen, hat die Form eines Rhombus über einem zylindrischen Hals. Typisch sind auch die Augen, die bis zu den Kuhohren ausgezogen sind. Das Fragment gehört zu einem größeren Ensemble von Votivkacheln, die in das Neue Reich datieren.
Questo oggetto di fayence verde, che proviene dagli scavi di W.F. Petrie a Serabit el-Khadim, é un frammento di placchetta votiva raffigurante Hathor. Il volto della <A HREF="God">dea</A> , protettrice delle miniere e delle regioni desertiche, si presenta come una losanga sormontante un collo di forma cilindrica. Caratteristici sono anche gli occhi che si stirano in orecchie di vacca. Il frammento fa parte di un grosso insieme di placchette votive datanti al Nuovo Regno.
Este objecto de faiança verde provém das escavaçöes de W. F. Petrie em Serabit el-Khadim e é um fragmento de uma placa votiva com a imagem de Hathor. O rosto da <A HREF="God">deusa</A>, protectora das minas e das regiöes desérticas, apresenta-se como um losango encimando um pescoço de forma cilíndrica e caracteriza-se igualmente por ter os olhos alongados e orelhas de vaca. O fragmento fazia parte de um grande conjunto de placas votivas datando do Império Novo.

El rostro de la <A HREF="God">diosa</A>, protectora de las minas y de las regiones desérticas, se presenta en forma de rombo con un cuello cilíndrico. Igual de característicos son los ojos, que terminan en orejas de vaca. El fragmento forma parte de un gran conjunto de plaquitas votivas que datan del imperio Nuevo.
