Description
String of faience and two carnelian disk beads, from a burial in the predynastic Cemetery E, on the south side of the desert valley leading from Abydos town to the tombs of the early rulers. The excavation report does not mention either these beads, or, crucially, pottery found with them that might have helped to date the burial, but they may be of predynastic date.
