Uit de context van de opgraving is opgemaakt dat deze aardewerken balletjes gebruikt werden om kleinere objecten zoals faience kralen en amuletten in de oven uit elkaar te houden.
D'après le contexte des fouilles, on a pu déduire que ces boulettes en terre cuite étaient utilisées dans les fours pour séparer des petits objets comme des perles de faïence ou des amulettes.
Aus dem Ausgrabungskontext wurde geschlossen, daß diese Tonkügelchen dazu dienten, kleinere Objekte wie Fayenceperlen und Amulette im Brennofen auseinanderzuhalten.
