Description
Small pottery vessel, small flat footed base, bell-shaped body with a hole pierced through the waist on either side. This was found at Memphis, and dates to the early Ptolemaic Period, when the city was still an important and flourishing trading centre, though Alexandria had become the capital.

Klein aardewerken vat met kleine platte basis, klokvormig lichaam met een gaatje aan iedere zijde door het middel. Kleines Tongefäß mit kleinem flachem Fuß und glockenförmigem Körper, der in mittlerer Höhe auf beiden Seiten Durchbohrungen aufweist. Es wurde in Memphis gefunden und datiert in die frühe Ptolemäerzeit, als die Stadt noch immer ein bedeutendes und blühendes Handelszentrum war, wenn auch Alexandria Hauptstadt geworden war.
