Description
Fragment of wall with low relief hieroglyphs, brightly painted. The details of the face are not perfectly symmetrical, and the cutting is somewhat irregular, but the scale is small. It was found at Deir el-Bahari, at the temple to the cult of king Nebhepetra Mentuhotep, of the Middle Kingdom, but may be dated stylistically to the 18th Dynasty. It may be from an addition to the original building, or a stray from the neighbouring temples of the later date.
