Description
Fragment of a faience vessel with a thick blue glaze, typical of Ptolemaic and Roman production; in this instance the size of the fragment may be misleading, and it seems more likely that the vessel dates to the New Kingdom, as with most of the votive offerings to the goddess Hathor found at Deir el-Bahari, her principal shrine in Thebes.
