Description
Pottery jar with narrow, only partly preserved neck, and the stump of a handle. The surface is painted in red stripes around the neck and vertically down the body. This appears to be a late Middle Kingdom import, in a shape suggesting a small quantity of precious liquid such as scented oil.

Aardewerken kruik met nauwe, deels bewaard gebleven hals, en de aanzet van een handvat. Het oppervlak is beschilderd met rode strepen rond de hals en verticaal over de buik. Dit lijkt import uit het late Middenrijk te zijn, die qua inhoud een kleine hoeveelheid kostbare vloeistof suggereert, zoals geurige olie.
Jarre en terre cuite munie d'un col étroit partiellement conservé, avec vestiges d'une anse. La surface est décorée de rayures rouges à hauteur du col. Le corps comporte le même motif, mais peint verticalement. Il s'agit, semble-t-il, d'un article d'importation datant de la fin du Moyen Empire. D'après la forme, elle devait contenir une petite quantité de liquide précieux, comme de l'huile parfumée.
Tontopf mit schmalem, nur zum Teil erhaltenem Hals und dem Ansatz eines Griffs. Die Oberfläche ist um den Hals herum und den Körper herab mit roten Streifen bemalt. Dies scheint ein Import des späten Mittleren Reiches zu sein, dessen Gestalt darauf hinweist, daß er eine kleine Menge einer kostbaren Flüssigkeit, etwa parfümiertes Öl, enthielt.
Giara in terracotta con collo stretto, solo in parte preservato, e con il manico monco. La superficie è dipinta a righe rosse attorno al collo ed in direzione verticale sul corpo. Sembra che si tratti di un prodotto importato nel tardo Medio Regno, e la forma suggerisce che contenesse una piccola quantità di liquido prezioso quale ad esempio olio profumato.
Jarra em cerâmica com pescoço estreito, apenas parcialmente preservado, com o coto de uma pega. A superfície está pintada com riscas vermelhas em volta do pescoço, e verticalmente no corpo. Parece datar de finais do Império Médio, com uma forma que sugere pequenas quantidades de líquido preciosos tal como óleo com cheiro.
Vaso de cerámica con un cuello estrecho, parcialmente conservado, y restos de un asa. La superficie está pintada con líneas horizontales rojas en el cuello y verticales en el cuerpo. Parece ser una importación de finales del Imperio Medio, con un tamaño que sugiere una pequeña cantidad de un líquido valioso, como el aceite perfumado.
