Description
Roughly made pottery jar of Nile silt, with pointed base, convex profile, sharply turning inwards to the narrow outward flaring neck. The upper part was formed on the wheel, the base finished by hand. It was found in a tomb of the early Middle Kingdom, about 1900 BC, at Beni Hassan in Middle Egypt.

Grof gemaakte aardewerken kruik van Nijlklei met puntige basis en een convex profiel dat scherp naar binnen buigt naar de nauwe naar buiten lopende hals. De bovenkant is op een draaischijf gemaakt, de onderkant met de hand. Het is gevonden in een graf uit het vroege Middenrijk, rond 1900 voor Christus, in Beni Hasan in Midden-Egypte.
Jarre en limon du Nil, façonnée grossièrement, à base pointue, au profil convexe nettement tourné vers l'intérieur jusqu'au col étroit et évasé. La partie supérieure a été façonnée au tour, la base a été modelée à la main. Elle provient d'une tombe datée d'environ 1900 avant J.-C., au début du Moyen Empire, découverte à Beni Hassan, en Moyenne Égypte.
Grob gefertigtes Tongefäß aus Nilschlamm mit Spitzboden und konvexem Profil, das sich zu dem schmalen, ausschwingenden Hals hin scharf einwärts neigt. Der obere Teil wurde auf der Töpferscheibe geformt, der untere von Hand vollendet. Es wurde in einem Grab des frühen Mittleren Reiches, etwa 1900 v. Chr., in Beni Hassan in Mittelägypten gefunden.
Giara di terracotta, in limo del Nilo, rozzamente modellata, con base a punta, profilo convesso che si volge all'interno fino al collo allargantesi verso l'esterno. La parte superiore è stata lavorata al tornio, mentre la base è stata rifinita a mano.
