Finely modelled faience shabti from a typical large Late Period set, with slightly faded light green-blue glaze. The front of the body is incised with lines of hieroglyphs giving a shabti formula and naming the owner as the god's servant (most common priestly title) Horwedja.

General Comment
Site: Ascribed to Hawwara here on the basis of acquisition date, a decade after Petrie discovered a large set of fine shabtis of this type with the same name and title, at Hawwara in 1888. Note, however, that, though the ascription seems probable, both name and title are common.
