Hondachtige schedel uit Asyoet in Midden-Egypte, waarschijnlijk uit de jakhalsbegraafplaats uit de Late Periode tot de Romeinse Periode. De plaatselijke god Wepwawet werd regelmatig als jakhals afgebeeld.
Crâne canin provenant d'Assiout, en Moyenne Égypte, probablement d'un cimetière de chacals en vigueur de la Basse Époque à la Période Romaine. Le dieu local, Oupouaout, était régulièrement représenté sous la forme d'un chacal.
Canidenschädel aus Assiut in Mittelägypten, der wahrscheinlich von einem Schakalfriedhof der Spätzeit oder Römerzeit stammt. Der Lokalgott Upuaut wurde gewöhnlich in Gestalt eines Schakals dargestellt.
