The Byzantine bronze coin depicts Emperor Heraclius who reigned from AD 610 to AD 641. The denomination of the coin is 12 nummia. The coin was made in the mint in Alexandria.

The front side of the coin shows three figures standing and facing forward. The individuals are namely Heraclonas left, Heraclius center and Heraclius Constantine right. All are in long robes and each wears a crown with a cross and holds a long cross in the right hand. 

On the reverse side of the coin are the Greek letters "IB" and the cross potent, beneath which is a letter "M." The Greek letters "IB" represent the denomination of the coin. The "I" stands for 10 and the "B" stands for 2 for a total of 12 nummia. The cross potent is a cross with bars at the end of each arm. The people who were depicted on coins with Heraclius were: 

1) From 22 January AD 613: Heraclius Constantine, or the new Constantine, Heraclius' son who was born on 3 May AD 612 and was crowned on 22 January AD 613. 2) From 616: Martina, his second wife, daughter of his sister Maria. 3) From 1 January AD 632-3 to July AD 638: Heraclius, son of Martina, as Caesar and from 4 July AD 638 as Augustus.

Il s'agit d'une pièce byzantine en bronze. Héraclius (610-641 après Jésus-Christ). 12 nummi. Frappée : Alexandrie. 

Côté face : trois personnages debout, de face, à savoir : Héraclonas à gauche, Héraclius au centre et Héraclius Constantin à droite. Tous en longues robes, chacun portant une couronne avec une croix et tient une longue croix dans la main droite. 

Côté pile : IB, croix potencée, sous laquelle on lit un M. 
Les lettres "IB" représentent la domination de pièce. "I" signifie 10 et "B" signifie 2= 12 nummia. Le croix potencée est un croix avec des bars a la fin de chaque main. Les personnes représentées sur les pièces avec Héraclius étaient : 

1) du 22 janvier 613 après Jésus-Christ : Héraclius Constantin, ou le nouveau Constantin, son fils né le 3 mai 612 après Jésus-Christ et couronné le 22 janvier 613 après Jésus-Christ. 2) A partir de 616 : Martine, sa deuxième femme, fille de sa soeur Marie. 3) A partir du 1er janvier 632 au 3 juillet 638 après Jésus-Christ : Héraclius, fils de Martina, comme César et à partir du 4 juillet 638 après Jésus-Christ, comme Auguste.

عملة بيزنطية برونزية من عهد هيراكليوس (610 - 641م)، من فئة 12 نوميا؛ سكت بالإسكندرية. 

يظهر على وجه العملة الأمامي ثلاثة أشخاص واقفين مواجهين، على النحو الآتي: هيراكليوس في الوسط قنسطنطين إلى يمينه وهراكلوناس إلى يساره؛ والجميع يرتدون ثيابا طويلة. 

يظهر على الوجه الخلفي للعملة صليب والحرفان اليونانيان"IB" الدالان إجماليا على الرقم 12 وتحتهما حرف يوناني آخر "إم". الحرفان "IB" تمثل سك العملة."I" تعنى 10 و"B" تعنى 2= 12 نوميا. الصليب هو صليب بقضبان معدنية نجدها فى نهاية كل ذراع.

اعتبارا من 22 يناير عام 613م كان يظهر مع هيراكليوس على قطع العملة كل من: ابنه هيراكليوس قنسطنطين (أو قنسطنطين الجديد) الذي ولد في الثالث من مايو عام 612م وتوج في الثاني والعشرين من شهر يناير عام 613م. ثم منذ عام 616 زوجته الثانية مارتينا ابنة شقيقته ماريا؛ ثم من أول يناير عام 632م إلى الثالث من يوليو عام 638م، ابنه هيراكليوس من مارتين - بصفته قيصر، واعتبارا من الرابع من يوليو عام 638م - بصفته أوغسطس.
