The Global Egyptian Museum

The statue portrays the Good Shepherd as a young man standing on a plinth, a square block serving as a base. 

He is clad in a short-sleeve chiton, which is a Greek garment reaching above his knees, with a belt around his waist. He carries a lamb on his shoulders, holding the lamb's legs with his right hand close to his chest. 

In his left hand, he holds a stick. Two small lambs stand next to his legs and look up to him. The statue is supported by a back pillar that ends in a plant decoration.

Cette statue représente le bon Pasteur sous les traits d'un jeune homme. Il se tient debout sur un socle, ou bloc carré servant de base. Il est vêtu d'un chiton à manches courtes et a une écharpe autour de la taille. 

Ce chiton est un vêtement grec qui descend jusqu'aux genoux. Précisons également que le bon Pasteur porte un agneau sur ses épaules; il tient les pattes de l'animal avec sa main droite. 

Dans sa main gauche, on peut voir un bâton. Deux petits agneaux se trouvant à côté de ses jambes le regardent. Cette statue est soutenue par un pilier noir dont l'extrémité est décorée de végétaux.

يصور التمثال الراعي الصالح شاباً نائماً على كتلة مربعة تستخدم قاعدة له، وقد تزيا بخيتون قصير الأكمام. 

وهو ثوب إغريقي يبلغ الركبتين مع حزام حول الوسط، ويحمل على كتفيه حملاً يقبض على أرجله بيمناه قرب صدره. 

وفي يسراه عصا على حين يقف عند قدميه حملان صغيران يتطلعان إليه. ويدعم التمثال عمود على الظهر ينتهي بزخرف نباتي.
