The Global Egyptian Museum

The bust of Ptolemy the Third Euergetes, sculpted in fine white marble, most likely belonged originally to a full statue. The upper left part of the head and lower left part of the chest are broken. 

The head, slightly tilted to the left, has fine facial features. The eyes look upward, the nose is sharp, and the hair is wavy. The face and the neck are fleshy.

Sculpté dans du marbre blanc, ce buste de Ptolémée Trois Evergète faisait certainement partie d'une statue complète. La partie supérieure gauche de la tête et la partie inférieure gauche de la poitrine sont cassées. 

Légèrement inclinée vers la gauche, la tête présente de fins traits. Les yeux sont levés, le nez est pointu et les cheveux sont ondulés. Quant au visage et au cou, ils sont charnus.

تمثال نصفي لبطلميوس الثالث يورجتيس منحوت من الرخام الأبيض، كان أصلاً من تمثال كامل حيث كسر يسار الجزء الأعلى من الرأس وأسفل الجزء الأيسر من الصدر. 

إذ تميل الرأس قليلاً إلى اليسار بما للوجه فيها من وسيم القسمات، وإذ تتطلع العينان إلى أعلى مع أنف أشم وشعر مائج، ووجه لحيم وعنق كذلك.
