The Global Egyptian Museum

This cylindrical kohl tube is decorated with an upper and a middle collar consisting of paintings of reeds. It is painted with dark manganese on the white ceramic background. 

The edge of the pot is wide towards the interior of the opening and the bottom is slightly drawn in. 

Inside there are traces of gray kohl covering the inner wall. It is a perfectly balanced, decorated and enameled object.

Ce tube à khôl cylindrique est orné d'un collier médian et supérieur se composant de peintures de roseaux. Il est peint de manganèse foncé sur un fond en céramique blanche. 

Le bord de ce pot est large vers l'intérieur de l'ouverture et le bas est légèrement raccourci. 

On trouve à l'intérieur des traces de khôl gris sur la paroi. Il s'agit d'un objet parfaitement équilibré, orné et en émail.

يزين هذه المكحلة الأسطوانية طوق علوى وآخر أوسط يتكونان من رسومات لنبات البوص. وقد لونت المكحلة بلون غامق على خلفية من الخزف الأبيض. 

وحافة المكحلة عريضة فى اتجاه داخل الفتحة، فى حين أن قاعها مسحوب للداخل. 

وفى داخل المكحلة يوجد آثار كحل رمادى يغطى جدارها الداخلى. وتعد هذه القطعة متقنة من حيث توازنها وزخرفتها وتلوينها .
