The Global Egyptian Museum

This naos of Nectanebo the First is a masterpiece cut from a single block of granite. The top of the naos is shaped like a pyramid, and a statue of the falcon god Horus stands inside it. 

The protective winged sun disk symbol appears both on the front of the naos top, and also on the frame below the pyramid. On either side, columns of hieroglyphics are inscribed with the names and titles of King Nectanebo the First, starting with his Horus name.

Ce naos de Nectanebo Premier est une oeuvre d'art taillée dans un seul bloc de granit. Le dessus de ce naos est en forme de pyramide et une statue du dieu faucon Horus se tient debout à l'intérieur. 

Le symbole du disque solaire protecteur apparaît à la fois sur le devant de la partie supérieure du naos et sur le cadre sous la pyramide. Des deux côtés, des colonnes de hiéroglyphes sont gravées et indiquent les noms et les titres du roi Nectanebo Premier, en commençant par le nom de Horus.

ناووس لنختنابو الأول مع الرب حورس، يعد من الروائع الفنية التي نحتت من كتلة واحدة من الجرانيت. وتتخذ قمة الناووس شكل هرم، ويوجد بداخل الناووس تمثال للرب حورس في وضع الوقوف. 

ويظهر رمز قرص الشمس الواقي المجنح على كل من واجهة قمة الناووس، والإطار تحت الهرم. ونقشت على الجانبين نصوص، في أعمدة، بالكتابة الهيروغليفية؛ تعطي أسماء وألقاب الملك نختنابو الأول: بداية من اسمه الحوري.
