The Global Egyptian Museum

This double kohl pot consists of two tall cylindrical tubes with a central opening. The rims of the tubes are decorated with black ornaments. The pot is decorated with the painting of a nude woman standing and is holding a papyrus flower in each hand.

This pot contained kohl, an eye paint that was used to enhance beauty and protect the eyes. The pot is decorated on the other side with a woman standing and holding two lotus plants. The pot is finely glazed.

Ce Double Kohl Pot se compose de deux hauts tubes cylindriques avec une ouverture centrale. Les bords des tubes sont décorés en noir. Le pot est orné d'une peinture représentant une femme nue, elle est debout, tenant une fleur de papyrus au chacun de ses mains. 

Le pot contennait du khôl, un maquillage pour les yeux utilisé pour s'embellir et protéger les yeux. Ce pot est orné de l'autre côté avec une femme debout et tenant deux plants de lotus. Ce pot est finement vernissé.

مكحلة مزدوجة تتكون من أنبوبتين طويلتين بفتحة فى الوسط. ويزين حواف الأنبوبتين زخارف سوداء. أما الإناء فيزينه سيدة عارية تمسك فى كلتا يديها اليمنى واليسرى بزهرة بردي. 

احتوى هذا الإناء على مادة الكحل وهى المادة التى كانت تستخدم لتجميل وحماية العينين. وعلى الجانب الآخر من المكحلة تقف سيدة أخرى ممسكة بنباتي لوتس. والإناء مصقول صقلاً جيداً.
