Description
The painted stool belongs to a lady called Iy-Neferti, who was a member of the family of the artisan Sennedjem. It is supported by four round legs and painted in various colors. The seat is painted red and decorated with geometric lines. The name of its owner is written in hieroglyphics as "Osiris," a title given to the deceased to refer to her relationship with Osiris, the god of the dead.

Ce tabouret peint appartient à une femme appelée Iy-Neferti qui faisait partie de la famille de l'artisan Sennedjem. Il est soutenu par quatre pieds ronds et peint de diverses couleurs. Ce siège est peint en rouge et orné de lignes géométriques. Le nom de son propriétaire est inscrit en hiéroglyphes comme suit : "Osiris," un titre accordé à la défunte pour faire référence à sa relation avec Osiris, le dieu des morts.
يخص هذا الكرسى سيدة تدعى إيى-نفرتى، والتى كانت أحد أفراد أسرة العامل سننچم. ويقف الكرسى على أربعة أرجل مستديرة وهو ملون بألوان متعددة. والمقعد ملون بالأحمر ومزين بخطوط هندسية. وقد كتب اسم صاحبة الكرسى بالهيروغليفية، كما اعطى لها لقب أوزوريس، وهو لقب يعطى للموتى، إشارة إلى علاقتها بأوزوريس رب الموتى وربما يعنى "المرحومة التى اتحدت مع أوزيريس" أيضا.
