Description
The latticed stool belonged to the artisan Sennedjem. This type of stool is considered to be among the most commonly used of his time. It is made of thin struts of wood with angled braces supporting the seat. Four rounded, animal-shaped legs support the chair. The shortness of this stool suggests that it might have been used as a footrest placed under a high chair.

Ce tabouret ajouré appartenait à l'artisan Sennedjem. Ce type de tabouret est considéré comme l'un des plus couramment utilisé à cette époque. Il se compose de fins piliers de bois aux renforts anguleux soutenant l'assise et quatre pieds arrondis en forme d'animal soutiennent le siège. Ce tabouret est si bas que l'on peut penser qu'il a peut-être été utilisé comme repose-pied placé sous une chaise haute.
كان هذا الكرسى الشبك يخص العامل سننجم. وكان يعد هذا النوع من الكراسى الشبك بدون الظهر من أكثر الكراسى انتشاراً فى ذلك العصر. وهو مكون من شدادات خشبية رفيعة ورباط زاوية تحمل المقعد. كما توجد أربعة أرجل مستديرة على شكل أرجل حيوانات تحمل الكرسى. وقصر هذا الكرسى يدعو للاعتقاد بأنه كان يستخدم كمسند للقدم يوضع أسفل كرسى عال.
