Description
The mirror consists of a thick disk that bulges in the center. It is gilt without any ornament. The handle takes the shape of a small papyrus-shaped column topped with the disk and two falcons of Horus perched with their beaks facing out. The falcons are entirely on the edge of the capital and are designed to provide symmetry. The mirror could represent an amulet of Hor-em-akhet, or Horus of the Horizon.
