Description
These are tall wooden boxes with curved lids, painted on the outside with upright panels of red, blue and green. They were used for storing shawabti figures. There is a little knob on the lid and another one on the front of the box to help in fastening the seals after the box has been closed. Some of the panels contain inscriptions and the name of Yuya.

Utilisés pour conserver les figurines ouchebtis, ces grands coffres en bois munis de couvercles arrondis sont peints avec des panneaux verticaux rouges, bleus et verts. Un petit bouton placé sur le couvercle et sur la face avant de chaque coffre servaient à attacher les sceaux une fois le coffre refermé. Précisons que certains panneaux présentent des inscriptions et le nom de Youya.
هذه الصناديق الخشبية الطويلة ذات الأغطية المقبية مزينة من الخارج بشرائط رأسية حمراء وزرقاء وخضراء. كانت تستخدم هذه الصناديق فى حفظ تماثيل الشوابتى. ويوجد مقبض صغير على الغطاء وآخر على مقدمة الصندوق للمساعدة فى تثبيت دوبار الختم عند الغلق. وعلى بعض الشرائط توجد كتابات كما يوجد اسم يويا.
