The Global Egyptian Museum

This wooden box, painted white, is divided into compartments. 

The Hieratic text on the lid says it belonged to King Tutankhamun when he was a child. 

It has a rectangular shape and may have been used for jewelry or toiletries. 

From the text, we know that it probably contained razors, alabaster jars, and other toiletries.

Peint en blanc, ce coffre en bois est divisé en plusieurs compartiments. Le texte en hiératique inscrit sur le couvercle explique qu'il appartenait au jeune roi Toutânkhamon. 

De forme rectangulaire, ce coffre semble avoir été utilisé pour renfermer des bijoux et des articles de toilette tels que des rasoirs, des vases d'albâtre et d'autres objets du même genre.

صندوق خشبى مطلى باللون الابيض، مقسم من الداخل وله شكل مستطيل. تشير الكتابة الهيروغليفية الموجودة عليه، الى ملكيته للملك توت عنخ امون عندما كان طفلاً. 

وهذا الصندوق قد يكون استخدم للمجوهرات وادوات الزينة. والكتابة على الصندوق تشير الى انه كان يحتوى على شفرات للحلاقة وأوعية من الألباستر وأدوات أخرى للزينه.
