Description
This drawing consists of two registers, or sections, where cattle are driven before, or perhaps through, a field of papyrus by two boys who are nude and have side locks of hair. Each of them holds one or two sticks, perhaps to prod the cattle along. The youth in the front is looking backward, while the other is looking to the right. The artist deliberately drew the cattle small in proportion to the boys to show the large number of them.

Ce dessin se compose de deux registres, ou sections, où l'on peut voir le bétail être dirigé à travers un champ de papyrus par deux garçons nus et portant la mèche de l'enfance. Chacun d'entre eux tient un ou deux bâtons servant peut-être à pousser le bétail. Le jeune à l'avant regarde en arrière alors que l'autre est tourné vers la droite. L'artiste dessina expressément le bétail en petit par rapport aux garçons afin de montrer le nombre important de têtes qui le composait.
يتكون هذا الرسم من صفين من المناظر، حيث نرى ماشية يقودها ولدان أمام أو خلال أحراش البردى. والولدان عاريان ولديهما خصلة الشعر الجانبية المميزة للأطفال. ويمسك كل منهما عصا أو إثنتين، ربما لحث الماشية على المضى. وينظر الصبى الذى فى المقدمة إلى الخلف، بينما ينظر الآخر ناحية اليمين. وكان الفنان مجبراً على رسم الماشية صغيرة الحجم بالنسبة للولدين حتى يدل على كبر عددهم.
