The Global Egyptian Museum

This footstool, decorated with scenes of prisoners in high relief, is made from wood covered with gesso, which is gypsum prepared with glue, and inlaid with glass. 

It was found in the tomb of King Tutankhamun. The decoration shows two prisoners, each of different origin. Their hands are tied behind their backs. 

On the sides of the stool, another two prisoners overlap each other and their hands are tied to their bodies.

Orné de scènes de prisonniers en haut-relief, ce tabouret en bois est recouvert de stuc (mélange de gypse et de colle) et incrusté de verre. 

Ce tabouret fut découvert dans le tombe de Toutânkhamon. Les deux prisonniers sont d'origine différente. Ils ont les mains attachées derrière le dos. 

Sur les côtés du tabouret, deux autres images de prisonniers se recouvrent partiellement. Ces hommes ont les mains attachées au corps.

يزين هذا المسند للأقدام مناظر للأعداء منفذة بالنقش البارز. وقد صنع المسند من الخشب المغطى بالمصيص المطعم بالزجاج، وهذا المصيص عبارة عن جبس معالج بالصمغ. 

اكتشف هذا المسند في مقبرة توت عنخ امون. ويمثل المنظر إثنان من الأعداء من أصل مختلف، وقد قيدت أيديهما خلف ظهورهما. 

وعلى جوانب المسند نجد عدوين آخرين يواجه كل منهما الآخر وأيديهما مقيدة خلفهما.
