Description
This sarcophagus belongs to Queen Meresankh the Third whose tomb was found in the Giza Necropolis. Two projections help in lifting the lid. The sarcophagus is decorated with a depiction of the palace facade as well as the name and titles of the owner and a dedication text.

Ce sarcophage appartient à la Reine Meresankh Trois dont la tombe fut découverte dans la nécropole de Gizeh. Deux saillies permettent de soulever le couvercle. Le sarcophage est orné d'une représentation de la façade du palais ainsi que du nom et des titres du propriétaire et d'un texte de consécration.
تابوت للملكة مرس- عنخ الثالثة التي عثر على مقبرتها في جبانة الجيزة. وبالتابوت نتوءان يساعدان على رفع الغطاء عنه. والتابوت نفسه مزخرف بتصوير لواجهة قصر، ومزين بنقوش مكتوبة تعطي اسم وألقاب صاحبته؛ كما تحتوي على نص بصيغة إهداء.
