Description
This pectoral, a large piece of jewelry worn on the chest of King Amenemope, is in the form of a shrine with two lateral pillars and a hollowed molding containing the winged solar disk. In the center of the pendant there is a scarab of lapis lazuli representing the rebirth of the sun. It is flanked by the two protective goddesses, Isis and Nephthys. Below the scarab is the cartouche of the king.

Bijou de grande taille porté sur la poitrine, ce pectoral du roi Amenemopé a la forme d'une tombe ornée de deux piliers latéraux. Il comporte également une moulure creuse contenant le disque solaire ailé. Au centre de ce pectoral se trouve un scarabée de lapis-lazuli symbolisant la renaissance du soleil. Cet insecte est entouré des deux déesses protectrices, Isis et Néphthys. En dessous du scarabée, on peut voir le cartouche du roi.
صممت هذه الصدرية، والتى هى عبارة عن قطعة كبيرة من الحلى تلبس على صدر الملك امن-ام-ايبت، على شكل مقصورة بعمودين جانبيين وكورنيش مقعر يحوى قرص الشمس المجنح. وفى الوسط نجد جعراناً من اللازورد يمثل إعادة ميلاد الشمس بين الربتين الحاميتين إيزيس ونفتيس. وأسفل الجعران نقش خرطوش الملك امن-ام-ايبت.
