The Global Egyptian Museum

Made for the king's headdress, this plain rectangular wooden case with hinged lid contained a block-headed wig support. 

Its panels are decorated with simple blue and yellow faience and semitranslucent calcite ornaments. 

The remnants of the king's cap were found in the bottom of the box. Unfortunately, the cloth had decayed, but the remnants enabled us to record the order of the beads and the form of the skullcap.

Pourvu d'un couvercle à charnières, ce coffre en bois de forme rectangulaire contenait un support destiné à recevoir la perruque du roi. 

Ses panneaux sont décorés de faïence bleue et jaune ainsi que de motifs en calcite semi-translucide. 

Les restes de la coiffe du roi furent retrouvés au fond du coffre. Malheureusement, le tissu était en très mauvais état. Toutefois, les restes nous ont permis de déterminer l'ordre des perles et la forme de la calotte.

صمم هذا الصندوق البسيط خصيصاً لغطاء رأس الملك حيث كان يحتوى على حامل للشعر المستعار.

وقد صنع له غطاء ذو مفاصل، كما زين بزخارف من القيشانى الأزرق والأصفر وعجينة زجاج. 

ولم يعثر فى داخل الصندوق إلا على بواقى غطاء رأس الملك، حيث أن القماش قد تحلل. غيرا أن ما تبقى قد سمح بالتعرف على ترتيب الخرز وتحديد شكل غطاء الرأس.
